Glasgow restaurant visited by Celtic stars closes venue
Ramen Dayo shut its spot at 1126 Argyle Street in the city's West End on May 5, 2025.
While the Asian-inspired eatery has closed its Finnieston venue, it still operates another restaurant on Ashton Lane nearby.

Announcing the news on Facebook, the Japanese eatery said: "That's it, folks!
"Our last service in Finnieston is done, and our doors are closed for the last time.
"We have had a blast in Finnieston and can't thank you all enough for all your love and support, it means so much.
"As sad as we are to say goodbye to Finnieston, we have exciting things in the pipeline that we're working super hard on, so we can't rest!
"In the meantime, Ramen Dayo on Ashton Lane is still open, so you can still get your fix there."

The 'original and premium' Japanese-inspired restaurant is known for serving up dishes such as ramen, chicken karaage, gyozas, and much more.
Last year, we reported how the popular food joint was visited by two Celtic players.
In summer 2024, Reo Hatate, alongside former Hoops player Kobayashi Yuki, popped into the restaurant for a delicious meal.
The pair posed for a smiley snap at the eatery. Reo, 27, has played with the Glasgow side since 2022.
Meanwhile, Kobayashi, 24, played with Celtic from 2023 until 2024 before joining Portimonense in Portugal.
