Article content Richmond RCMP seeking witnesses in alleged attempted kidnapping Article content Article content Mounties in Richmond are seeking witnesses to an alleged attempted kidnapping on Monday that investigators believe was targeted. Article content Richmond RCMP said shortly after 4:15 p.m., they received a report from a woman, who said she was at a local sports facility in the area of the 4300-block of No 3 Road when she was approached by three men. Article content Article content The suspects then left the area in a black Jeep Cherokee with an Alberta licence plate, RCMP said. At about 10 p.m., the black Cherokee was located on fire in the 13000-block of Vulcan Way. Article content Article content Article content The first witness is described by police as Asian, wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, white pants, white running shoes and carrying a white and black umbrella. The second witness was wearing a grey jacket, grey pants, white running shoes, black glasses and carrying a pink purse. Article content Article content Kolby Sinclair, 30, was reported missing on March 22 and last seen on March 8. Investigators say he has not been in touch with his family, which is out of character.
