BJP Pune leader booked for molesting woman police officer, resigns from party

The female inspector reported the incident to her superiors and CCTV footage from the scene was reviewed. The officer later filed a formal complaint with Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar based on the have booked Kondhare under BNS Sections 74 and 75(1). It may be noted that the BJP leader has a prior molestation case against him. However, Kondhare denied the charges, calling it a "misunderstanding."However, BJP Pune City President Dheeraj Ghate confirmed his resignation and said it has been accepted pending the outcome of the inquiry.- Ends
