Runaway cow recaptured after six-hour operation in KK
Published on: Friday, June 06, 2025 Published on: Fri, Jun 06, 2025 Text Size: A still from the recapturing operation video. - Social media KOTA KINABALU: A sacrificial cow that escaped in Kingfisher Sulaman on Thursday night was recaptured after a six-hour operation, Info X reported. The cow, which broke loose at around 8pm, could not be subdued by its owner and residents due to its aggressive behaviour. Advertisement Kota Kinabalu Civil Defence Force (APM) officers were called in and arrived at midnight to assist in the capture. Six officers, equipped with PPE and rope tools, managed to restrain the 300kg bull with help from the community at 2.16am. Sky the viral husky says thanks to her Civil Defence Force rescuers (VIDEO)
KOTA KINABALU, Feb 11 — Sky the 'escape artist' husky made a special visit to its rescuers as a thank you for saving it from a drain. The Kota Kinabalu Civil Defence Force shared the husky's visit on social media after the husky went viral for needing to be rescued from a drain. What was hilarious about the entire episode was that the owner had no idea that their adventurous dog had gone viral and been rescued from the drain. It did provide the internet with some wholesome content as many Malaysians were amused at both the dog's cheery demeanour and the patience of the civil defence force members with the dog's antics.
