30-yr-old driver's body found in Bokaro
Bokaro: The body of a 30-year-old driver was found near Govind pond in Khedaadih locality under the Pindrajora police station area here on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Dhananjay, a resident of Shiv Shakti Colony in Sector-9, who used to drive a Toto and was living in his in-laws' house.
Several deep knife marks were found on Dhananjay's body, which indicated murder. His Toto was found near the spot but the battery was missing, pointing to murder after robbery.
After receiving information about the murder from the locals, police went to the spot started an investigation with the help of a dog squad. Sources said police had seen two youths moving suspiciously with Dhananjay in the CCTV footage.
Krishna Sahu, the father-in-law of the deceased, said, "After receiving a call on Sunday night, Dhananjay left saying that he would drop a passenger, but he did not return home. We searched for him in the morning, and later received a call about his body being found near the pond."
Police said they were investigating the case from all possible angles.
