Chesney Hawkes: ‘My wife had no idea who I was when we met'

It was 1995, four years after The One and Only was a hit. I'd been dropped by my label, dumped by my girlfriend and it felt like everyone was taking the piss out of me: the has-been pop star. Most of the money I made from music went into buying a house — my best financial decision ever. But I didn't have enough left for furniture. Plus, I was getting into drugs. I remember lying on a bare mattress in my room one night and breaking down. It was my lowest moment ever; I was worried it might end with me not finding a way out of the darkness. Then I met Krissy. My mate was playing an open-mic night at a pub in Mortlake,

People can fly without Real ID for now by following TSA guidance

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Real ID deadline is quickly approaching. Starting Wednesday, you're going to need it, or a passport, if you want to fly domestically or enter certain federal facilities, or even use TSA Pre-check. If you don't have the Real ID or another acceptable form of ID, TSA has released some guidelines as you wait for yours to be mailed to you. It's quite a busy time for Service Oklahoma. Plenty of folks are out getting their Real ID situated, with things appearing to move seamlessly. That even goes for those new to the road, like Patrick, who was with his mom, Krissy, on Tuesday, getting his Real ID permit. BBB warns Oklahomans of REAL ID scams as deadline approaches What to know about Real ID deadline. (KFOR) What to know about Real ID deadline. (KFOR) 'We waited maybe 30 minutes, just by walking in,' Krissy said. 'I'm going to be driving a lot,' Patrick said. The star in the top right corner means you're good to go, and getting in soon is key with the requirements going into effect. What to know about the Real ID deadline. (KFOR) 'It was like 20 minutes, everything, waiting time, the process, everything,' Sandra Hunter said after she got her Real ID at a Service Oklahoma site off I-240. 'It was great. A lot easier than I thought it was going to be.' You get a temporary paper license at your visit, but those alone are not accepted for air travel. It can take 10 to 14 business days for the real deal to get delivered. If your Real ID hasn't gotten to you before a flight and you don't have a passport, TSA offered some guidance Tuesday, to allow those people to keep flying for the time being. Do you need a REAL ID before Wednesday's enforcement deadline? Here's what to know They said they want you to get to the airport at least three hours early. This is to prepare for extra screenings, and you may expect delays due to any extra security checks. They also want you to bring multiple forms of ID. That can be in the form of your current driver's license, the temporary Real ID (though that alone wouldn't be accepted) and an additional proof of ID like a birth certificate. TSA can deny you access if they can't identify you properly. So, to avoid any delays, it's best to act quickly. Remember, a standard Oklahoma license is still valid for driving, voting, and general ID use in the state. This also isn't the deadline to get the Real ID. You can apply at any time. This is only the deadline when the rules start to be enforced. Unsure of what documents you need to obtain a Real ID? Click here for a list of what you'll need. Also, after-hours appointments are available for anyone who needs them. Per Service Oklahoma, 'REAL ID Mondays and Wednesdays offer after-hour appointments through the end of the year at six locations around the state. Appointments for after-hours slots must be scheduled in advance. Customers are also encouraged to check the live wait map for daytime walk-in service availability at any Service Oklahoma location during regular business hours. Using the online waitlist helps customers find the shortest waits nearby and choose the best time to visit.' For more information on after-hours appointments, click here. Here is more information from Service Oklahoma: What to know before applying for a REAL ID? While a REAL ID is not required in Oklahoma, residents may wish to apply for one to avoid disruptions when traveling or entering certain federal facilities. Paper temporary licenses are not accepted for air travel. REAL ID credentials are mailed and typically arrive within 10 to 14 business days. REAL ID is only required for domestic flights, access to certain federal buildings or military bases, and participation in TSA PreCheck or CLEAR. A standard Oklahoma license is still valid for driving, voting and general ID use within the state. What if you're flying soon but haven't received your REAL ID? If you have not yet applied for a REAL ID and do not have a valid U.S. passport or another TSA-accepted form of identification, Service Oklahoma recommends visiting a nearby location soon to complete the application process. Be sure to use the REAL ID Checklist to confirm you bring all required documents. If you have already applied but your REAL ID hasn't arrived by mail before your scheduled flight, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) offers the following guidance: Arrive at the airport early — at least three hours before your departure. Bring multiple forms of ID, such as: Your current Oklahoma driver license or ID The temporary paper credential received at REAL ID issuance (Note: TSA does not accept this alone) Additional proof of identity, such as a birth certificate Prepare for extra screening. TSA may require additional security checks and reserves the right to deny access if identity cannot be verified. Passengers without a REAL ID or acceptable alternative may experience delays, additional screening or denial of entry at TSA checkpoints. For more, visit the Department of Homeland Security REAL ID page or the TSA Contact Center. Ready to apply for a REAL ID but want options? To support travelers ahead of busy summer and fall travel, Service Oklahoma has added evening and weekend appointment options at select locations throughout May. These expanded hours are in addition to the walk-in service available at all Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam locations during regular business hours. EXCLUSIVE Real Housewives of Sydney producers tried to cover up Caroline Gaultier's 'volatile' behaviour by cutting star from New Zealand trip

Chaos erupted on the set of Real Housewives of Sydney when Caroline Gaultier shockingly threw a stiletto at a producer while filming the fiery season three finale. Daily Mail Australia can reveal the 53-year-old model had been on uneven footing with show's producers well before she 'hurled' a shoe at them. Sources close to the production allege Caroline was 'furious' when she learned she'd been axed from the season's girls trip to New Zealand at the last minute. 'There was talk of Caroline in particular not being allowed to go on the trip,' an insider claims, 'because of her volatile behaviour. Her unpredictability.' 'I'm not sure of the exact details behind that, but there were some things that definitely happened between Binge and Caroline,' the source spills. 'Everything was booked. Her packs were packed. Then her make up got cancelled by production and she never turned up.' It wasn't until Krissy Marsh, Victoria Montano, Martine Chippendale, Kate Adams, and Sally Obermeder arrived in Queenstown to film their 'girls trip' episodes that they learned Nicole Gazal and Caroline would not be joining them. Caroline's absence was explained away as the star being busy with renovations on her house – but it was actually a producer enforced time out. Producers had hoped the time away would cool tensions between Caroline and other cast members. But when she returned to film her next scenes two weeks later, she seemed hellbent on making war, not peace. 'I'm not kadoodling to the nonsense,' she declared to Krissy in a one-on-one meeting, before verbally brawling with Terry at a luxurious restaurant. The cast were very much divided when the explosive reunion episode was filmed last November, with Terry, Kate, Martine, Nicole, and Sally on one side of things, and Krissy, Victoria, and Caroline on the other. Daily Mail Australia understands that is more or less where things currently stand in terms of housewife alliances, although Martine and Victoria are no longer friends. 'Caroline not going on the New Zealand trip probably had a ripple effect on the rest of the season,' the source continued. 'There was a lot going on behind the scenes. If they ever did another season they would have to rethink some of the cast,' the insider said. 'Some of the things Caroline did throughout the season made her very volatile and filming did not feel like a very safe place to work.' The revelation comes after reports filming had to be ceased following a physical altercation between cast members. Following the incident, some of the women declined to return for the next scheduled filming date, forcing producers to patch together the series using the footage they had already captured. Daily Mail Australia first reported Caroline's stiletto-throwing finale at the reunion, which will air on May 6, after several cast members came forward under the condition of anonymity. The mic drop moment unfolded during a behind-the-scenes interview segment, where cast members share their unfiltered thoughts. Caroline reportedly lost her temper after being cornered with probing questions she 'couldn't answer' and found herself backed into a corner. 'She did not handle that reunion well, not at all,' an insider claimed. 'The producers were asking her some hard-hitting questions and she was visibly rattled. She felt like she was being backed into a corner and instead of owning up to things she just… snapped. 'Next thing you know, she kicked off one of her shoes and hurled it at the producer.' According to one witness, the black platform stiletto was 'ugly' and compared the footwear to 'stripper shoes'. But the real drama wasn't in the shoe's appearance—it was the sheer unpredictability of Caroline's behaviour. 'She was furious at the end of the reunion,' another source claimed. 'She stormed off set, clearly livid and muttering under her breath. No one wanted to get in her way. Most of us were just relieved it didn't escalate into anything worse.' The producer, while shaken, reportedly dodged the flying stiletto and continued their work professionally, but the shocking outburst left a sour taste for many on set. Caroline has been at the centre of many feuds, with cast members Terry and Kate refusing to be in the same room with her unless cameras were rolling. Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Saturday, Kate said 'she really had fun' filming the third season of the show, and largely thanks to the addition of Martine to the group and Caroline's no-show in New Zealand. 'Last year, my whole time filming I was in so much conflict, I was disappointed that's all I really got to show of me,' Kate said. 'There was this sense coming into season three that it's going to be Terry and Kate vs. the world, and the universe really delivered for me with Martine. 'When Caroline didn't come to New Zealand, I got this opportunity to relax and be myself, and get to know some of the women on a deeper level.'
