Daylight saving time will begin on Sunday, March 9 at 2 a.m., unfortunately leading to a loss of one hour of sleep for Americans as we will be "springing forward".
However, most Americans look forward to the extra hour of sunlight, especially with warmer weather and summer on the horizon.
Americans will "fall back" an hour in November.
