PHOTOS: TANG SIE HING/FACEBOOK KUCHING - A mysterious woman who saved a man's life by performing CPR at Kuching Airport has been found. However, the woman who works at the Timberland Medical Centre opted to remain anonymous. 'I'm not the only one who performed CPR on the man. This is something I should do. Let me remain anonymous,' said the woman. She gave her personal account to Dr Tang Sie Hing who posted the incident on his Facebook in search of the woman on behalf of Mr Law's family to thank her. The woman was on the same flight as the man, flying from Sibu to Kuching on April 30, said Dr Tang on Facebook. She saw a group of people surrounding an unconscious man at the arrival hall of Kuching Airport and performed CPR on the man. A male doctor also joined her, said Dr Tang. An ambulance from Kuching General Hospital arrived shortly after and two medical staff joined them in taking turns to perform CPR on the man. The woman left, knowing that Mr Law was in good hands. She declined any form of gratitude or recognition, said Dr Tang, who also respected her wish to remain anonymous. Mr Law, 55, returned from a recent trip to China with complaints of pain in his chest and stomach. He sought medical treatment at Sibu Hospital but the condition did not improve. As the pain got worse, he decided to seek medical treatment in Kuching. But he collapsed upon entering the Kuching airport's arrival hall and lost consciousness. He was taken to hospital and later transferred to Timberland Medical Centre, where he had a coronary angioplasty, which showed two of his arteries were fully blocked. Mr Law has since recovered.
