Kuharevich has a year to run on his current deal, with the option of another 12 months also included in his SA1 contract. ‌ Pato signs for Pilgrims Jamie Paterson has signed a contract with League One side Plymouth Argyle. I've always enjoyed playing here, especially with the good atmosphere, and they are a club that are looking to try and get straight back up after getting relegated last season. My dad lives close to here as well, which is another positive, so I get to see him a bit more. ‌ 'Another reason was the project. Speaking to the gaffer (Miron Muslic), who's a really likeable character and somebody that's driven and wants to get promoted straight away, I just felt like it was something that I wanted to do, get done early and then I can get on my holidays and enjoy some time off.' The moment I never wanted to come, but that's football, and in life everything has a beginning and an end... On Saturday I will play my last match at the Santiago Bernabéu. "I arrived in 2012 with the desire to wear the shirt of the best team in the world and with the ambition to do big things, but I couldn't imagine what came next. Playing at Real Madrid changed my life as a soccer player and as a person. "I feel proud to have been part of one of the most successful eras of the best club in history. I want to thank the club from the bottom of my heart, especially the president Florentino Perez, my teammates, coaches and all the people who have helped me during all this time. ‌ "Throughout these years I've experienced incredible moments, comebacks that seemed impossible, finals, celebrations and magical nights at the Bernabéu... We won everything and I was very happy. Very very happy. "But beyond the titles and victories, I carry in my heart the affection of all Madrid fans. I really don't know how to explain the special connection I have with you and how supported, respected and loved I have felt and feel. "I will never forget each ovation and all the gestures of affection you have shown me. Leaving with a full heart. Filled with pride, gratitude and unforgettable memories. Swansea City striker Mykola Kuharevich says he would consider making a third move to Easter Road next season having helped Hibs secure third spot in the Scottish Premiership. The Ukrainian centre forward, 23, is currently contracted with the English Championship club until the end of next season - and there is also the option of an extra year in place. Kuharevich, who also spent season 2022-23 in Leith, managed 21 league appearances this time around, scoring four crucial goals as David Gray's side secured the best of the rest tag in the top-flight despite a horrific start to the season. Swansea City striker on Hibs future And with European football secured for the next term, Kucharevich has revealed that there is 'excitement' around qualifying as he ponders where he will be playing his football. He does concede that his Welsh parent club hold all the cards. He said: "I would consider this opportunity to return to Hibs again if it happens, because I am fully adapted to the team. And, of course, there is a great excitement to feel the taste of European football together with the club and fans, from whom I have constantly experienced crazy support. Everyone, I think, feels part of the team,' he said. 'Because someone doesn't play and someone just has an injury, they are not forgotten. They come back; they make a difference. We have a big squad who can make a difference in every game. I think this is the right thing in the club. That's why we're in such a good place now. 'I just feel love for this club because it's a massive club, good city. Very good fans, stadium, everything. I enjoy it here. I enjoy playing at Easter Road in front of these fans – in every stadium in Scotland, really. I just try to help the team in every game.' Swansea, who finished 11th in the Championship, recently appointed Alan Sheehan as head coach on a permanent basis. The Irishman will want to run the rule over the striker during pre-season. And he is set to bring in Celtic's Darren O'Dea as his assistant boss. Fellow Irishman O'Dea is the Premiership champions' player pathway manager currently and will certainly have a decent knowledge of Kuharevich - who netted an excellent header against Celtic at Parkhead in the League Cup earlier in the campaign.

Mykola Kuharevich has perfect Hibs gift in mind as thank you for special times at Easter Road

The striker is approaching the end of his second loan spell in the capital having joined this term from Swansea City Motivated Mykola Kuharevich is driven to help Hibs into Europe as a thank you for his special times at Easter Road. The Ukrainian striker is approaching the end of his second loan spell in Edinburgh having joined this term from Swansea City. Kuharevich previously had a temporary deal in Leith during the 2022/23 term and has built a major affinity for the club. ‌ The 23-year-old hitman doesn't know what the future holds for him beyond the remaining three games of this Premiership campaign. But, if he is about to say goodbye for the final time, Kuharevich wants to do so in style and play his part in booking Hibs' ticket to the continent. ‌ David Gray's team are on the brink of qualification following the weekend win over Dundee United which thrust them three points clear of third-placed Aberdeen. Kuharevich hit the key second goal of the game in front of a jubilant crowd of over 18,000 who chanted about heading for Europe during an eighth-straight home win. Ironically, there's every chance the striker won't be there if Gray's side make it with parent-club Swansea signing him on a three-year deal just last summer. But that hasn't quelled Kuharevich's desire to make it happen as he said: 'Of course, it's obviously massive for everyone because not many players get to play in Europe. Not me, for example, and everyone wants to take this opportunity because, I understand, it's not often happening. We have to take it if it's so close. 'Because I'm here on loan, there is a bit of frustration, but I'm happy for the team and for the club. It doesn't matter, it's still a motivation. If you look at where we sit in the table, it's a really good place to be. "We have to make sure to finish where we want to finish. People at the club who have been in Europe before tell me this is incredible. I think for every club who can express themselves on the European arena, this is massive for everyone. Everyone wants it.' ‌ Helping to seal the qualification would provide his perfect thank you as he added: 'Yes and I think this is also my motivation because I understand the club gave me a lot. "I have been given a chance to play for a team who can qualify for Europe. I really appreciate it. I really want to give something to the club as much as I can.' Kuharevich certainly did his bit against United with his surging run away from visiting defence and angled 14th minute finish adding to Martin Boyle's scrambled opener for the hosts. ‌ Although United launched a second-half revival which brought a goal almost immediately after the restart from sub Kristijan Trapanovski, Gray's team sealed the deal when sub Dwight Gayle headed home fellow replacement Nicky Cadden's brilliant cross from close range. It was Kuharevich's sixth goal of a campaign where he lost six weeks over Christmas through injury and he said: 'It's a very good feeling. Very good feeling to score, to win. It's a massive win. We're all happy.' ‌ He was replaced near the end by Kieron Bowie and says the Scotland kid has a bright future as he explained: 'He's young, he's strong. He's got a good ability. He has the talent to be a really good player and he works so hard every day.' Bowie is set to be the future if Kuharevich becomes the past, but he'll leave with brilliant memories of life and gave an insight into how he will always cherish them from his two spells. He said: 'I'm really happy. I just feel love for this club because it's a massive club, good city. Very good fans, stadium, everything. I enjoy it here. ‌ "I enjoy playing at Easter Road in front of these fans, in every stadium in Scotland, really. I just try to help the team in every game. 'Especially now when we have such a good season, you learn a lot, I think. Because this is a special feeling. This is a very good mentality in the club. Inside the dressing room. "This has helped me and helped everyone for the future. Even when I was out injured, I felt always like part of the team. It doesn't matter. ‌ "Everyone, I think, feels part of the team. Because someone doesn't play and someone just has an injury, they are not forgotten. They come back, they make a difference. 'We have a big squad who can make a difference in every game. I think this is the right thing in the club. That's why we're in such a good place now.' ‌ Kuharevich admits he hasn't given much thought to his future for next season and beyond as he added: 'My focus is on these games. This last run of games. I want to achieve as much as possible and, after I take my holidays, we'll see. "Now I have to focus on finishing the season and do as much as I can now. "But whatever happens, I will always remember and appreciate my time here, of course. "This is a good time, good boys, good environment to be really happy. Especially when we're winning, when we had such a good run before. "It doesn't matter even that we lost last week because we came back with a massive win and we still can get a really good place for us to be.' Mykolo Kuharevich delighted with the massive three points

Hibs on-loan striker Mykolo Kuharevich was delighted after his goal helped secure a 'massive' win over Dundee United at Easter Road yesterday. The Ukrainian forward netted the second goal of the afternoon to help Hibs to a crucial 3-1 victory that puts the team three points clear in third-place. Kuharevich's low strike from outside the area was his second goal in as many games against United, though the 23-year-old insists he is indifferent to who he scores against so long as his goals help the team. Credit: Ian Jacobs Credit: Ian Jacobs Credit: Ian Jacobs Credit: Ian Jacobs Credit: Ian Jacobs 'I enjoy every game when we are winning and when I am scoring,' he told HibsTV. 'It does not matter when it is Dundee United or anyone else. I try to score and do my best in every game. 'It was a very good feeling. I worked so hard for that. In the last game, I was unlucky and I tried to do my best. 'But today, I am really happy. Really happy for the team and myself. We done well today.' Martin Boyle's opener and Kuharevich's finish earned Hibs a two-goal cushion at the break, but a quick response following the restart from the visitors put pressure on Hibs in the second 45. The attacker was pleased with how he and his teammates dealt with United's threat, before Dwight Gayle would head in a third late on to ensure three points stayed in EH7. 'It was tough because they started the second half well. And we knew it, I think,' he added. 'But we did good to deal with that and get three points. 'Everyone is so happy,' he added. 'We enjoy to play games like this. This is massive. These last games are so important. 'We have pressure on us but it just gives us even more happiness after we get the result.'
