Murder suspect arrested in Kunak

By: Ibrahim Tabir Text Size: KUNAK: Police have arrested a foreigner on Saturday to assist in the investigation of a woman's murder at a remote plantation on Jalan Tingkayu. A team from the Kunak District Police Headquarters traced and detained the suspect at a nearby plantation following information provided by members of the public.
Advertisement The arrest came after images of the male suspect circulated on Facebook and WhatsApp groups, with authorities believing he could assist in the investigation. The suspect is currently being remanded to aid the investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
