The man was rushed to Kununurra Hospital before being flown to Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory, where he was later declared dead. The woman was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder and breaching protective bail conditions following further investigations. She is due to appear in Kununurra Magistrates Court on Monday.
