Putin visits nuclear power plant in Kursk Region

ALBAWABA - Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Kursk Oblast region on May 20, local media reported on Wednesday.
During the visit, the president also checked up on the Kursk NPP-2 nuclear power plant, which is still under construction in the Kurchatov district of the Kursk region, TASS news agency mentioned.
The Kremlin said in a report: "During the working visit, the president met with representatives of volunteer organizations. The head of state also met with the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein. In the city of Kurchatov, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the heads of municipalities of the Kursk region. In addition, the president visited the Kursk NPP-2 under construction."
