Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr commends the Public Authority for Sports for unwavering support

KUWAIT CITY, May 3: In the presence of Board Chair of the Kuwait Aquatics Federation (KAF) Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, Vice Chair Hamid Al-Gharib, and representatives from sports clubs and companies, the General Assembly of the Kuwait Aquatics Federation approved the financial and administrative reports for the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. The estimated budget for the 2025/2026 fiscal year was also approved. According to a press release, the General Assembly, which was held in the Olympic Committee's meeting room, endorsed the appointment of an auditor for the 2025/2026 fiscal year and discussed proposals submitted by sports clubs. During the meeting, Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr expressed his gratitude to the attending club and company representatives, as well as the members of the General Assembly, for the trust they have placed in the KAF Board of Directors and for its outstanding role in driving progress and advancing the field of aquatics. Sheikh Khaled also thanked the Public Authority for Sports for their support and for overcoming any challenges. In addition, he commended the full cooperation and coordination between KAF and the parents/guardians of both male and female players.

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: The President of the Kuwait Aquatics Federation Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah congratulated Kuwaiti swimmer Khaled Al-Otaibi for winning the gold medal in the 400m individual medley at the International Championships in Greece, and securing qualification for the World Championships to be held in Singapore. In a press release, Sheikh Khaled Al-Bader praised the positive atmosphere at the tournament and the great efforts exerted by the technical and administrative staff of the age-group teams to properly prepare athletes for the upcoming World Championship qualifiers. He emphasized that the Kuwait Aquatics Federation is committed to providing full support and overcoming any challenges faced by both male and female athletes, particularly the youth, who represent the future of aquatics in Kuwait. Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr highlighted that the Kuwait Aquatics Federation is making steady progress toward achieving accomplishments for Kuwait. He affirmed the importance of collaborating with relevant authorities, particularly the Public Authority for Sports, to ensure the necessary resources are provided for training and qualifying national teams. This will help them succeed in Gulf, Arab, continental, and international sports competitions. Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr highlighted the guidance of the political leadership in prioritizing sports and athletes in Kuwait, and in tackling obstacles that hinder their success, with the ultimate goal of raising the Kuwaiti flag on prestigious sports podiums.
