Kuwait temporarily shuts airspace amid regional escalations
Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Monday a temporary closure of its airspace, in light of regional developments.
This decision comes as part of efforts to maintain the highest levels of safety and security amid regional developments, competent authorities said in a statement cited by the state's official news agency KUNA.
They added that local and international entities are coordinating to take necessary actions.
The statement urged all travelers and airlines to closely follow official updates and cooperate with the competent authorities in favor of public safety and well-being.
