KUWAIT CITY, April 27: Kuwait Club's jockey Ali Al-Kharafi continued his impressive streak by winning the seventh round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship, held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center track. Al-Kharafi clocked the fastest time of 34.95 seconds during an outstanding Grand Prix round at a height of 145 cm. Abdullah Al-Awadhi secured second and third places, followed by Anaaz Al-Anaaz, Fawaz Al-Subaie, and Hamad Al-Hajri. Ghazi Faisal Al-Jariwi, Secretary-General of the Equestrian Federation, crowned the winners. In addition to his Grand Prix victory, Al-Kharafi also topped the intermediate category at a height of 135 cm. Hamad Al-Hajri claimed the minor prize at 125 cm, while Mohammed Karam Ghuloum took first place in the 115 cm category. The opening day of the tournament also saw Al-Kharafi claim the grand prize at a height of 140 cm, further cementing his dominance. Secretary-General Ghazi Al-Jariwi praised the exceptional standard of Kuwaiti equestrian sports, highlighting the emergence of talented young riders across all levels — beginners, intermediate, and advanced — and the spirited competition seen throughout the event.

KUWAIT CITY, April 14: Ali Al-Kharafi Shines in Sixth Round of Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship Kuwait Club's elite jockey, Ali Al-Kharafi, claimed victory in the sixth round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship, held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center. Al-Kharafi topped the 145 cm differentiation round, clocking the fastest time of 38.03 seconds, outperforming a competitive field that included Steven Daniels, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Fawaz Rashid, Anaz Al-Anaz, Fawaz Al-Subaie, and Sayed Adnan Al-Alawi. The winners were crowned by international referee and equestrian commentator Lama Ahmed Abdel-Aal. In the 135 cm intermediate category, Abdullah Al-Awadhi of Al-Masayel Club took the lead, followed by Marshoud Al-Marshoud, Nick Channing, and Rakan Al-Hasawi. Hamad Jaber Al-Hajri, representing the Equestrian Sports Club, continued his strong league performance by winning the 125 cm junior category. On the tournament's opening day, world champion Ali Al-Kharafi also claimed wins in the third and fourth rounds, held at heights of 130 cm and 140 cm, further solidifying his dominance in the league.

Al-Kharafi wins gold at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Qatar

DOHA, March 1: Kuwait's equestrian star Hussein Al-Kharafi continued his impressive international form by securing first place and the gold medal in the opening round of the Longines Global Champions Tour for Show Jumping, which concluded in Qatar. Al-Kharafi triumphed in the 120 cm category, outperforming Saudi Arabia's Khaled Al-Hadi, who finished second, while Qatar's Hussein Al-Kaabi claimed third place. The tournament's deputy director, Omar Al-Buainain, crowned the winners and congratulated the champions on their achievements. On the domestic front, the Kuwait Equestrian Federation announced that the third round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship will take place on Friday, March 7, at Sahara Equestrian Club. Notably, Ali Al-Kharafi won the title in the second round, while British rider Nick Channing claimed victory in the first round.
