First Group of Kuwaiti Pilgrims Returns After Smooth, Well-Organized Hajj
KUWAIT CITY, June 8: The first group of Kuwaiti pilgrims returning from this year's Hajj arrived this afternoon at Terminal 1 of Kuwait International Airport, with additional flights expected to follow in the coming hours. The pilgrims unanimously described this year's pilgrimage as exceptionally well-organized. They praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its comprehensive preparations, including the deployment of teams and field units across the holy sites to swiftly respond to any emergencies. Hajj Abdul Karim Al-Lamie, one of the earliest returnees, expressed gratitude for the smooth and organized experience. 'Thanks to God and the Saudi authorities, everything was made easy. The procedures were clear and efficient, and the entire journey went smoothly,' he said. Echoing this sentiment, Hajj Abdul Razzaq Al-Bassam called this year's pilgrimage 'special and different,' emphasizing the visible improvements in organization and accessibility at every site. 'We felt comfort and ease throughout the rituals. The Saudi procedures were exceptional, and the Kuwaiti Hajj mission supported us every step of the way.' Abu Al-Qasim Al-Dibaji, Secretary-General of the International Organization for Islamic Fiqh and Imam of Zain Al-Abidin Mosque in Salmiya, noted that his experience this year stood out among the more than twenty times he has performed the pilgrimage. 'This was the most seamless Hajj I've experienced. The services, especially those provided by the Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns, were outstanding,' he said, adding that Kuwaiti pilgrims continue to serve as role models for ethical conduct and religious observance. Dr. Faisal Al-Enezi also confirmed the positive experience, citing excellent coordination and a lack of congestion. 'Everything was organized to perfection, and we are truly grateful to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its efforts,' he said. 'May God reward them for all they have done.'

Kuwaiti Consul in Jeddah: Full readiness to support Kuwaiti pilgrims during Hajj
JEDDAH, May 28: Kuwait's Consul General in Jeddah and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Yousef Al-Tunaib, confirmed on Tuesday that the Kuwaiti Consulate has completed all preparations for the 2025 Hajj season. He assured that the consulate staff are fully prepared to support Kuwaiti pilgrims in performing their rituals with ease. In a statement to KUNA, Al-Tunaib said the consulate routinely forms dedicated committees each year to operate around the clock. These teams ensure continuous communication and coordination with the official Kuwaiti Hajj mission and pilgrims arriving from Kuwait. Al-Tunaib noted that a consular office has been established in Makkah to oversee and execute consular duties related to Kuwaiti citizens throughout the Hajj season, up until the departure of the last pilgrim. An additional office at King Abdulaziz International Airport has been set up to assist pilgrims upon their arrival and departure, helping to overcome any potential obstacles. He further stated that a consular team will remain on duty in Jeddah to continue the consulate's regular operations and monitor the affairs of Kuwaiti citizens in the western region of Saudi Arabia during the holiday period. The Consul General announced the allocation of a dedicated emergency hotline (+966 535 571 133) to receive calls and inquiries from Kuwaiti nationals, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, visitors, and others. Al-Tunaib emphasized the consulate's ongoing coordination with Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, praising its leadership of the Kuwaiti Hajj mission and its cooperation with relevant authorities to enhance the Hajj system and ensure the comfort and safety of Kuwaiti pilgrims. He also commended the Ministry's initiative to increase the number of Kuwaiti pilgrims accepted for this year's Hajj season — standing at 8,000 — who are registered via the electronic Hajj track for international pilgrims. He highlighted the Ministry's efforts to implement the outcomes of the recent Hajj Conference and meetings of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah. The Consul urged Kuwaiti pilgrims to strictly follow the directives issued by Saudi authorities, specifically the Ministry of Interior's requirement for pilgrims to obtain an official permit from relevant authorities before entering Makkah or the holy sites during the Hajj period. He lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing development initiatives aimed at improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. Al-Tunaib also highlighted the significance of conferences and seminars organized by Saudi officials, reflecting their commitment to serving those visiting the Two Holy Mosques. In conclusion, he extended his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their tireless efforts and generous support in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the Guests of God. He wished them continued success and guidance.

Hajj approval for persons with revoked Kuwaiti citizenship
KUWAIT CITY, May 27: Hajj caravans have been informed about the approval of competent authorities to issue Hajj permits to those whose Kuwaiti citizenship was revoked following Article Eight of the Nationality Law, after fulfilling the specified conditions. Sources told the newspaper that those who meet the conditions will be issued passports and their names will be removed from the banned list, paving the way for them to be assigned to the caravans. Sources added that those who do not meet the conditions — those with a travel ban, a security restriction or an expired passport — are excluded from the aforementioned procedures. Sattam Al-Muzain, head of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs team in the Kuwaiti Hajj expedition, has announced the arrival of the expedition members to the Holy Land in preparation for receiving the pilgrims from Kuwait. This is a confirmation of the report about the arrival of Kuwaiti Hajj expedition teams to the Holy Land that the newspaper published recently. Al-Muzain said the teams and committees began their duties immediately upon their arrival at the expedition's headquarters in Makkah, affirming that they have completed preparations to provide the best services to the guests of Almighty Allah from Kuwait.
