Former Missouri police officer accused of pocketing DARE program donations
McDONALD COUNTY, Mo. — A former southwest Missouri police officer is accused of stealing money intended for the DARE program.
Kyle Kuhn was working for the Anderson Police Department in 2023 when he accepted a series of donations totaling more than $1,300.

He had been told to give any DARE donations to the city clerk, but the office has no record of those donations.
Court documents show Kuhn admitted to accepting them but used the money to train his left the police department in the summer of 2023.
He has a court date scheduled for later this month.
