54 Beauty Products That Actually Deliver Results

Mielle's (TikTok-famous) Rosemary Mint strengthening oil reviewers swear by to nourish their scalps, strengthening and promoting hair growth at the root. It's formulated with biotin, moisturizing oils like jojoba, plus rosemary and mint oils, which can help stimulate the scalp. A butt acne-clearing lotion formulated with tea tree oil to fight pimple-causing bacteria, helping clear existing acne and helping to prevent it from coming back in the long run. Reviewers use it on their thighs and back too and say this lotion helps their skin feel suuuper soft! L'Occitane's fast-absorbing shea butter hand cream, because if you have dry, cracked hands or just hate the feeling of papery hands post-washing when you're on the go, you need this lil' guy in your bag. And reviewers agree there's no overly greasy feeling after, either! A bottle of CND SolarOil, a nail and cuticle oil to moisturize and condition your skin and nails, helping with growth (no peeling!) and keeping cuticles nourished and soft, no matter how much hand sanitizer you're using. Just massage in the jojoba oil and vitamin E–infused formula daily. Bonus: the sweet almond oil in it smells *so* good. Or if you're not a fan of oils, Hard as Hoof nail-strengthening cream that can help prevent splitting, peeling, and cracking *and* conditions cuticles to help your nails grow longer and stronger than ever. I can hear your newly long nails tapping on something, ASMR-style already. Kosas's Revealer Concealer — a super popular and splurge-worthy pick thanks to its skincare benefits (hello caffeine, hyaluronic acid, and peptides) and brightening, buildable coverage, making it perfect for spot concealing on no-makeup days or using as part of a full face of makeup. Or for a drugstore option, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer, the cult-fave reviewers have used for *years* for a reason — it brightens your under eyes without creasing while treating them with goji berry and haloxyl — plus, it'll last even LONGER than Tarte's Shape Tape and other expensive brands. And if you're looking for *extra* brightening, Catrice "Instant Awake" Under Eye Brightener, which is renowned for being very similar to the Becca Under-Eye Corrector ($33), for *less than 1/5 of the price!* The peachy-orange tones of the color-correcting shades cancel out dark circles instantly, whether you pair with a concealer or wear alone. CeraVe Retinol Serum that lives up to the CeraVe name and uses *encapsulated* retinol to reduce the appearance of scars and pores without flaking or redness. If you haven't gotten into retinoids yet or are worried about irritating your skin, this gentle but effective serum is a great option — and reviewers say they like it better than other, more expensive options (like Murad's Retinol Serum, which retails for $92). Speaking of CeraVe, their eye repair cream, which is formulated with hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and niacinamide to help tighten and brighten the appearance of skin — as well as the blend of ceramides CeraVe is best known for. Tl;dr: reviewers say a few pats of this eye cream can help reduce the appearance of dark circles, under-eye puffiness, *and* fine lines. NYX Brow Glue, an extreme hold eyebrow gel (up to 16 hours!) to keep your brow hairs in place alllll day long, especially if you like that "laminated" look. Reviewers agree the hold is great, the formula doesn't flake off, and that it also washes off easily — and is a great alternative to ABH Brow Freeze, too! Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask you can wear overnight for a serious boost of hydration, firming, and brightening — even reducing the appearance of pores and fine lines. Reviewers say they noticed a difference in just one use *and* that people stopped to compliment their skin! Btw, once you wake up and see where the mask has become transparent, you'll know the serum is absorbed — how cool is that? Gold Bond's firming neck and chest cream — it's not only your face that deserves a skincare routine! This is formulated with salicylic acid for chemically exfoliating that delicate skin (without harsh scrubbing) plus glycerine and aloe for plenty of hydration. Reviewers are surprised at the results they get but note that it does take time. So don't forget to take a before photo, and get to slathering! A bottle of Elizavecca Hair Treatment — an intense at-home protein coating mask that can help your strands look and feel less damaged in just five minutes. It's basically a time machine for your hair, is what I'm saying. Some reviewers say it's even BETTER than Olaplex, which is over three times the price! A Briotech spray with the same magical ingredient as the very beloved Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Spray: hypochlorous acid (something our body produces naturally as part of our immune system!). Just spritz it on whenever your skin needs a little de-stressing, and it'll help soothe inflammation, tone down redness, and strengthen your skin's barrier. Ogx Argan Oil of Morocco Curl-Defining Cream that'll define curls and add hold (*without* the dreaded crunchiness). The argan oil-infused formula is designed to help fight frizz so your hair can bounce along healthily behind you, whether you have anything from loose waves to tight spirals — and it's safe on colored hair! Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, a cult-favorite body cream you're going to want to slather all over your body, thanks to the deep hydration (cupuaçu butter, coconut oil, and açai oil!) and temporary skin-tightening (caffeine!) it provides, plus a fragrance with notes of salted caramel and vanilla that reviewers L O V E. Mighty Patch Pimple Patches, which absorb pus and oil from *inside* the zit, protecting skin from further damage and reinfection so you're not tempted to hot compress, pop, ooze, scar, and repeat. They also come in an ~invisible~ version that (as someone who has used them) is indeed surprisingly hard to see. Or a Mighty Patch hydrocolloid nose patch that targets your whole nose all at once, absorbing gunk and oil from multiple pimples and pores all at once and trapping it so you can toss it right in the trash. Say goodbye to those damaging adhesive nose strips once and for all! My all-time desert island holy grail, CeraVe's Skin Renewing night cream, which delivers on hydration and softness and protects your skin's natural barrier — I won't use an expensive night cream again. It's fragrance-free and non-comedogenic (aka it's designed not to clog pores), and it's packed with powerhouse ingredients like ceramides, peptides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. There's a reason people can't stop talking about CeraVe on TikTok! I Dew Care's dry shampoo powder — it comes packaged in an easy-to-apply, perfect-for-travel powder puff applicator you just tap-tap-tap onto your hair. Just massage the ultra-fine powder into your roots (it's formulated with black ginseng and biotin btw!), and it'll quickly absorb excess oil, leaving you with volumized and refreshed-looking hair. Bioderma micellar water, the perfect addition to your double cleansing routine — it removes allllll your makeup and excess oil without harsh scrubbing or irritating sensitive skin. Now you'll know you've actually removed your sunscreen and makeup before bed — without having to use those aggressive makeup wipes. Or Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil, a K-beauty cleanser great if you're looking for something a little more heavy-duty. Just apply to dry skin and gently massage, then emulsify with water to dissolve makeup and sunscreen and remove sebum and the day's grime, leaving your skin refreshed but not stripped. Reviewers *swear* by it for helping reduce blackheads and sebaceous filaments, too! And after that first cleanse, CeraVe's Hydrating Facial Cleanser, which lives up to the CeraVe name, with a blend of super hydrating and gentle ingredients including ceramides, glycerin and hyaluronic acid. And don't worry that it doesn't foam up — it'll remove all the dirt, grime, and excess oil from your skin, without depleting the moisture. A lightweight Cosrx SPF 50+ sunscreen (the same brand as the TikTok-viral snail mucin!) for anyone who isn't always the best at applying sunscreen (every! day!). This sebum-balancing formula has a moisturizer-like texture, contains skincare ingredients like cacao and vitamin E, feels breathable on the skin, leaves a semi-matte finish, and (reviewers agree!) it doesn't have a white cast, so applying it will feel like less of a chore. O'Keeffe's Lip Repair, a lip sleeping mask from the brand behind the cult-favorite Working Hand and Healthy Feet creams — and just like those borderline miraculous products, reviewers say this balm will heal and repair dry, cracking, chapped lips like no other product has. Skin-lifting, pore-tightening Skin1004 face masks with results that reviewers swear by — not to mention the fact that using them is weirdly fun? The mask tightens as it dries on your face, giving you the titular "zombie" effect (just better more expensive Hanacure). Just wait 15 minutes and rinse to reveal your glowiest glow yet, thanks to the albumin (aka egg white) and aloe formula. Radha rosehip oil to not only soften skin and lock in moisture (just like other oils), but also help reduce redness and breakouts, thanks to the rich blend of vitamins A, C, and E, fatty acids and anti-inflammatory antioxidants. Essence's Lash Princess mascara, which over *250,000* 5-star reviewers for dramatic length and volume *without* clumps, thanks to the flake- and gob-free formula and cone-shaped brush. Tons of reviewers say it's a better version of cult-faves like Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. (And even Diorshow!) Cosrx's snail mucin repairing essence that may seem like it would give you the ick, but is totally worth adding to your routine. No snail-like results here: Just pat it in the evening, and you'll be appreciating the moisture boost right away. Reviewers say it helps with acne, inflammation, peeling, fine lines, and even eczema! Bio-Oil Multi-Use Skincare Oil, the sworn favorite of thousands of people to moisturize skin, help reduce the appearance of scars, prevent and reduce the appearance of stretch marks, and even out skin tone, thanks to the moisturizing blend of oils and vitamins A and E. Londontown's illuminating nail concealer, a sheer but buildable formula that cancels out yellowing or staining, leaving healthy-looking, glowing nails and a little flush of color, which you can also layer for that glazed nail look that's so on trend! Elizabeth Mott's cult favorite Thank Me Later eyeshadow primer to keep your favorite eye makeup look on lock all day AND all night — *no* creasing, *no* budging. That's right, you will NOT have to reapply before your evening plans. Reviewers note it's an affordable alternative to Urban Decay's Primer Potion — the slightly larger size Elizabeth Mott tube is about half the price of Urban Decay's. Vanicream, a sensitive skin-friendly moisturizer free of common irritants (and fragrance free!) reviewers love to use on their face *and* body. The included pump dispenser is great for easy application and avoiding contamination of the jar. Plus, it has the seal of acceptance from the National Eczema Association! The Revlon One-Step Hot Air Brush (now with an upgraded motor) with a unique oval-shaped barrel so you can get super close to your scalp for smooth hair and majorly boosted volume at the roots without having to juggle a brush and blow-dryer. One reviewer says it takes less time to dry than their Dry Bar Brush! Urban Decay's All Nighter setting spray, which is a fan-favorite for a reason. It's lightweight and buildable, so you can spray it on as you apply your makeup look, and it will help keep your makeup from budging all day and all night — even up to 16 hours! A bottle of Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo formulated with 1% ketoconazole that doesn't just banish annoying flakes, but actually works to kill the fungus that causes dandruff. You can use it just twice a week, too. An exfoliating mitten so you can scrub off dead skin cells and reveal softer, smoother skin during your Everything Showers. Just lather up and (gently!) massage your skin — reviewers say this is great for preventing ingrown hairs, helping reduce KP, and using before applying fake tan! L'Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion, a fan-favorite, glycerin-infused illuminator you can mix in with moisturizer or foundation, wear as a base under makeup, *or* apply as a highlight or bronzer for a natural-looking (and not glittery) glow. An ergonomically designed detangling brush with cone-shaped bristles that separate tangles by pulling them apart sideways, not tugging them down. Reviewers say it's a miracle worker for everything from thick, coily hair to the finest strands! La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume, a repairing balm that'll be your new BFF if you've ever dealt with irritated skin. Over-exfoliated your face? Got a peel but went too far? Skin way too dry and nothing is helping? Tried a new mask that did *not* turn out well? This balm has your back. Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum with over 1,800 5-star reviews touting its ability to give that crystal clear mythical "glass skin" with powerhouse actives like niacinamide (a personal favorite) and hyaluronic acid, and frankly delicious-sounding ingredients like peach and East Asian mountain yam. A foot-filing rasp to help undo years of callus buildup in mere MINUTES. No waiting for intense creams to do their work, no getting pedicure after pedicure — if you want to see results ASAP, you'll think it's ~grate~. And a bottle of professional-grade callus-removing gel that can dissolve that pesky hard, dead skin in just a few minutes — for real, don't leave it on for more than that. Then just rinse, sand with a pumice stone or rasp, and enjoy those silky-smooth feet! If you love Baby Foot but hate waiting, this is a great option. A diffuser attachment with three adjustable air volumes and a deep bowl design to gently gather your curls and waves, drying them in their natural pattern, reducing frizz, and increasing definition AND shine. A 2-in-1 Kiss eyeliner that's actually *also* false eyelash glue, so you can get out the door in way less time — just line with the easy-to-draw felt tip, let the glue get tacky, and stick those falsies on! E.l.f. Poreless Putty primer, which is infused with squalene to hydrate, smooth over skin for a seamless finish, and hold onto makeup for all-day staying power. You mayyyy have seen this all over TikTok over the past couple of years, and the reviews back up the hype. Or if you prefer gripping-style primers like Milk Hydro Grip (which reviewers say this is similar to!), E.l.f.'s Power Grip — it's formulated with hyaluronic acid to plump the appearance of skin and designed to *hug* to your makeup for all-day wear. And it's fragrance-free! Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant (all of your favorite skincare TikTokers swear by it) that'll unclog pores, banish dead skin cells, and even out skin tone. It even works on my very allergy-prone, sensitive skin. A whopping 202 reviewers used the word "miracle." SoCozy curl conditioning spray, which was designed with kiddos' curls in mind but works for reviewers of all ages! This leave-in conditioner moisturizes and helps improve curl definition and elasticity with just a few quick spritzes, which is great for impatient kids *and* grown-ups with limited time. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, a fan-favorite French moisturizer that you could stock up on during your next trip to just order straight from Amazon. (It's a verified seller!) Reviewers and makeup artists alike swear by this for a super-hydrating base under cosmetics (and bonus: it smells really good, too). A reusable Revlon oil-absorbing roller stick with a ball made of volcanic stone that sucks the excess shine right off your face (no wasteful blotting papers required) so your makeup looks just as good at 6 p.m. as it did at 8 a.m. Just pop it out and give it a wash once in a while, and you can reuse it over and over and over again! An exfoliating First Aid Beauty Bump eraser body scrub reviewers with KP (aka keratosis pilaris) swear by to get rid of those tiny red bumps, without slathering on any additional creams or products — just use in the shower instead of your regular soap. Stila's Stay All Day liquid eyeliner with a smudge-free felt tip that makes creating the perfect cat eye simpler than ever with a long-lasting formula that doesn't bleed, crack, or budge (as the name suggests) alllllll day.

This body wash is going viral on Amazon — here's why

Certain products in your bathroom can make even a quick, utilitarian shower feel luxurious and pampering. For example, a nice-smelling shampoo can relax or invigorate you, while a great razor can leave your skin feeling silky and smooth. Another product that can enhance your get-clean experience? Body wash. Like shampoos and conditioners, there are a ton of different body washes on the market, all purporting to have various benefits. While some have more of a gel-like consistency, others feel more like oil, which can be even more hydrating for your skin. Certain options, like L'Occitane's Cleansing & Softening Almond Shower Oil can double as shaving cream. The popular body wash has been selling like crazy on Amazon. In fact, in the last month, over 10,000 people have purchased it. Given its popularity, we just had to give it a closer look. Sweet almond oil is the star ingredient of this shower oil, which is used because it instantly softens the skin and is rich in nutrients, according to the brand. As you spread the formula over your body in the shower, it turns from an oil into a milky lather. The soft lather also makes it good for shaving and helps the razor glide over skin more easily. The oil, which has a 4.4-star average rating from over 13,495 reviews on Amazon, comes in a recycled plastic bottle and is available in three sizes — 1-ounce, 8.4-ounces and 16.9-ounces. In addition to using it as a shower gel, L'Occitane recommends squirting a little into a warm bath to scent it and leave your skin soft and smooth when you emerge. Why trust NBC Select? My Secret to Low-Effort Supple Skin Is This Luxe Shower Oil

They say it's always darkest before the dawn. That was exactly the case when I found myself (and my bathroom) covered in body oil, trapped in my own personal episode of Naked and Afraid. What led me to end up in such a humbling position? Dry skin, of course. I hit the genetic lottery of having both dry and sensitive skin, so for me, a skin-care routine has always been essential. But I had never paid much attention to the skin below my neck. Partially because I dreaded the trial-and-error phase of trying new products, and partially because I absolutely hated the way moisturizer felt as it sunk into my skin. But eventually, after years of ignoring the flurry of dead skin cells that came flying off of me at the end of each winter day, the state of my skin—or, should I say, husk—became unavoidable. And so I went on a quest in search of the perfect product that would moisturize my thirsty skin without leaving me feeling greasy. I came out the other side with what would become my skin's hydration hero—L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil. L'Occitane's Almond Shower Oil was among the plethora of solutions that popped up in my original search. I was intrigued by the fact that for about $45, I could buy a 16.9-ounce 100% recycled plastic bottle for refills, which would help me cut back on plastic waste. That factor, along with the French having a reputation for seemingly effortless, radiant beauty, had me quite tempted. But L'Occitane's 8.4-ounce bottle was nearly triple the price and about a third the size of similar drugstore products, so I figured cheaper alternatives had to be at least similarly effective. I figured wrong. Beauty influencers and magazines lauded the efficacy of various moisturizing body washes and oils. Yet with each one I tried, the results were mixed at best and left my entire bathroom covered in sticky oil at worst. That moment of skidding around my bathroom was the final straw. I concluded that moisturized skin was not worth a slip and fall, so I quit my months-long search, figuring I'd just stay ashy forever. And, as everyone who's ever seen a rom-com knows, the moment you stop looking is usually when you find exactly what you're looking for. Serendipitously, while I was stocking up on my beauty essentials during a Sephora sale, I stumbled across a discount on the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil and figured it was worth a shot. Cut to a year later, and this bottle of literal liquid gold is now one of my must-haves year-round, but especially during brutal winter weather.
