MAFS' Rhi and Jeff tease major relationship announcement after Final Vows
They were consistently one of the strongest couples in the experiment, so it came as no surprise to viewers that Married At First Sight's Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels decided to continue their relationship at Final Vows. The pair, who called each other 'Rhi Rhi' and 'Jeffie' at the start of their speeches, both admitted they were falling in love and walked away from the show hand-in-hand. Thanks to some social media clues and photos from Jeff's recent birthday party, it's been confirmed that the fan favourite couple are still together. During an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, however, the pair say that viewers will have to wait until Sunday night's episode before they can officially reveal their current relationship status. 'We're just doing what we've been told!' Rhi laughs, while Jeff adds, 'We might get in trouble'. 'I would say you have to watch the reunion and you might find out,' Jeff teases. 'The house key got a bit of a workout after Final Vows, that's all I'm going to say,' Rhi remarks, referring to the key Jeff gave her to his apartment on Home Stays. While they can't say much about their relationship post-show, Rhi and Jeff admit it took them some time to adjust to life away from the cameras. 'You get filmed morning, midday, and nighttime pretty much every day for three months, and it was just nice to not have that around us and just live a normal life,' Jeff shares. 'I went back to work, I think Rhi did as well, and it was nice to just spend time with family and friends and enjoy each other's company. We sort of just hung out and had fun.' 'It was so refreshing,' Rhi says. 'It's funny, when I spoke to some of the cast, they were like, 'I miss it'. Whereas I'm like, I don't miss it all! Obviously, it is fun getting ready for the dinner parties and whatnot, but it is very exhausting. So it was just nice to be able to catch up on sleep.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Married At First Sight (@mafs) The couple also tease that the upcoming reunion dinner party was 'pretty intense' to film, especially because so many people who left the experiment early had things they wanted to get off their chest. 'I thought that we were all across everything, but we weren't. Because when I was at reunion, I was like, 'Oh, I didn't know that, I didn't know that. Thanks for keeping me updated, everyone!',' Rhi says. 'I saw it all unravel at the cocktail party and then the dinner party, so I did get a surprise when I was there.' 'That was the one time we didn't have seating arrangements, too,' Rhi explains. 'I was luckily placed right next to Ryan, which means I was in the thick of it and got brought into it!' 'Obviously, the voices get raised a little bit and a lot of drama follows,' Jeff shares.

MAFS' Jamie reveals the sweet moment she said 'I love you' to Dave
Married At First Sight's Jamie Marinos has shared details about the moment she said 'I love you' to her partner Dave Thomas Hand for the very first time. The fan-favourite bride broke the exciting news to her co-stars Beth Kelly and Veronica Cloherty on the couples retreat but refused to share any more details at the time. Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle about the off-camera moment, Jamie reveals that she dropped the L-bomb one night in bed before Dave was due to fly to Melbourne to see his dad. The groom had previously shared at his wedding that his father was in hospital battling cancer and was undergoing his fourth round of chemotherapy. He mentioned in our wedding episode his dad was unfortunately unwell, and so he was actually going back to Melbourne for a couple of days to visit him,' Jamie details. 'It was a very tough go for Dave because he's in this experiment but also, his mind was at home too. It was just this constant balancing act of being a good husband but also trying to process everything that's going on in and out of the experiment.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Married At First Sight (@mafs) Jamie says that she quickly took on a caretaker role in the relationship and Dave's unfortunate situation made her want to 'give him as much love as [she] could'. 'So the night before he was leaving, he was catching an early morning flight, we were in bed and I just turned to him and I said, 'I love you, but don't say anything. Don't say anything, go to bed. Goodnight',' she recalls. 'He gave me a kiss and he had a big stupid smile on his face. At that point, I knew we were in a different place because he wasn't as 100 per cent there as I was. I had nothing weighing on my mind, I was just completely laser-focused on this man like, this is my job now. But again, Dave having to process what's going on at home, I knew it was going to take him a little bit longer so I didn't want to put that pressure on him.' Yahoo Lifestyle revealed last year that the show's bosses are on track to deliver what could be one of the social experiment's happiest endings to date as there was a 'record-breaking' number of pairs still together at the Final Vows. It's understood that Jamie and Dave are one of those couples that make it to the end of the filming experience, but it's unclear whether they have stayed together beyond the experiment. 'I commented, 'Oh you're still together?!'. They said, 'You'll have to wait and find out'.'
