Kansas City police ask for help locating man charged in 2024 killing
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police detectives are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for a 2024 deadly shooting.
La'Relle D. Dennis, 23, is charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with second-degree murder, among other felonies, in connection with the killing of Treshaun Wright, 21.

Police said Wright was shot and killed inside a car in the area of East 82nd Street and Holmes Road in Kansas City in the early-morning hours of Aug. 25, 2024.
The charges against Dennis were filed in February and a warrant was issued for his arrest at that time.
Dennis is described as a Black man, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 290 pounds.
