Delight the family with an immersive 3D dining experience at Le Petit Chef
Le Petit Chef at La Coco, Andaz Dubai The Palm, brings in a tiny chef to serve your dinner. Yes, really. Tucked inside a breezy beachside venue, complete with cosy interiors and sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf, this 90-minute experience uses clever 3D projection mapping to introduce you to the world's smallest chef. He's animated, a bit cheeky and known to cook right on your plate, though not before taking you through a whirlwind of sound and visual treats. The result is something between a theatre show and a five-course dinner, and while you won't find any magic tricks, there's a fair bit of table-side wizardry going on. The menu, curated by head chef Mauricio Zambrano, gives you a choice between three routes: the indulgent Le Grand, the crowd-pleasing Classic, or the flavour-packed Vegetarian. You could be enjoying pan-seared scallops, slow-cooked beef short ribs and a velvety chocolate crémeux. There's also a kids' menu if you're bringing along little foodies, and yes, this will definitely be a core memory kind of moment for them. Shows run every Wednesday to Sunday, with two evening seatings at 6pm and 8.30pm on Wednesdays, and three shows daily – 2pm, 6pm and 8.30pm – from Friday to Sunday. Prices start at Dhs495 per person. This is a dining experience that you're going to remember long after your last bite, so book your dinner now. Book now: 04 581 1281, From Dhs495. Wed 6pm and 8.30pm, Fri-Sun 2pm, 6pm and 8.30pm.
