Latino Network's new ‘La Plaza Esperanza' hopes to bridge the digital divide
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Metro Area's LatinX community is getting a boost with the grand opening of La Plaza Esperanza.
Located in the city's Rockwood neighborhood, the center will provide a space for community members to connect, dream and grow.
Put together by the Latino Network, the facility will also hope to bridge the digital divide by offering technology resources, including a computer lab.
