Gagita, who goes by the pronouns she/her when referring to her drag queen persona, made her fangirl dream come true after snapping a photo with Lady Gaga, as seen on her Instagram account on Sunday, May 18. 'We were happy just to be alive. Tonight is historical. I finally had my moment,' she wrote. The drag queen also shared a clip of her brief interaction with the singer-actress in a separate post. 'WAITED FOR 15 YEARS AND NOW DESTINY HAPPENED. You have changed my life forever,' she wrote. Lady Gagita is known in the drag community as the impersonator of Lady Gaga, and has shared multiple posts of herself performing to the singer-songwriter's songs. She competed in the first season of the reality show Drag Den Philippines in 2022. Singapore is the only Asian country included in the stops of Lady Gaga's Mayhem concert, which was held in support of her eighth studio album. K-pop group Babymonster spotted at Lady Gaga's Singapore concert
It turns out that Little Monsters weren't the only monsters enjoying the first night of Lady Gaga's four-day concert in Singapore. Members of K-pop girl group Babymonster – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Rora and Chiquita – were seen in their best Drip at Mother Monster's show, one day after their sold-out show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Missing from the festivities were members Ahyeon, who had left for South Korea ahead of the others, and Rami, who is currently on hiatus due to health concerns. According to multiple attendees, Babymonster enjoyed Sunday's show from the stadium's executive suite. The group's appearance at Lady Gaga's gig comes a year after member Pharita flew into Singapore to catch Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert. Babymonster's concert, which took place on Saturday (May 17), saw the group delighting fans, known as Monstiez, with hits such as Sheesh, Forever and Drip. Babymonster also treated attendees to surprise covers of labelmate Blackpink's Kill This Love and As If It's Your Last. Lady Gagita has finally met her ultimate idol, Lady Gaga, in the flesh! On Instagram, the Filipina drag queen shared her moment with Lady Gaga during the latter's "Mayhem" concert in Singapore. "We were happy just to be alive," the "Drag Den Philippines" alum wrote. "Tonight is historical," she added. "I finally had my moment." Lady Gagita attended the Singapore concert in full drag as Lady Gaga. She is the country's known impersonator of the "Born This Way" hitmaker. Singapore is Lady Gaga's only stop in Southeast Asia, and she is still set to perform two more nights, on May 21 and 24, for her "Mayhem" world tour.
