Motorcyclist dies from injuries after crash on U.S. 24 in Lafayette County
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist died from his injuries following a crash on U.S. 24 highway in Lafayette County this week, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported on Monday just after 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 24 at Waterloo Road.

According to a from the highway patrol, a driver in a Ford F-250 truck was trying to cross the highway and pulled out in front of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which was headed west on U.S. 24. The motorcycle then hit the truck.
The motorcyclist, a 57-year-old man from Bates City, was injured in the crash and taken to a hospital. He died at the hospital the next day, according to the highway patrol. The victim's name has not been released.
The highway patrol is investigating the crash. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
