CM to lay foundation stone for CG's 1st data centre park today
Raipur: In a step towards embracing advanced technology-driven industries, Chhattisgarh is all set to establish its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center Park in Nava Raipur.
CM Sai will lay the foundation stone of the project on May 3. The AI-exclusive Data Center Park is being developed at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore over an area of 13.5 acres, with 2.7 hectares earmarked for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) development. The data center park is situated in Sector-22, near the CBD Railway Station.
The foundation ceremony will also be attended by Commerce, Industry & Labour Minister Lakhannlal Dewangan and Finance, Housing & Environment Minister OP Choudhary as special guests.

Under its new industrial policy, the Chhattisgarh govt has introduced special provisions for industries rooted in modern technologies. Officials said investors in the data center space will benefit from streamlined procedures under the Single Window System, Ease of Doing Business, and Speed of Business initiatives by the Department of Industries.
