Popees Baby Care launches 93rd store in Kerala's Kanjirappally
Popees Baby Care has expanded its retail presence in Kerala with the launch of its 93rd outlet at Pettah Junction in Kanjirappally. The store opening was marked by a ceremonial first sale, where twin children Lakhiya and Lanika were gifted products by store owner Kanthi Bhaskaran. The Kanjirappally store launch follows recent international developments for the company, announced Popees in a press release. Last month, Popees opened two new outlets in the UAE and is targeting around ten more showrooms in Dubai this year. Expansion is also underway in other GCC markets such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. Popees currently operates an office and showroom in the UK and has plans to enter the Australian market within the year. "Plans are in place to open stores in Australia this year," announced the business in a press release. "Recognising the potential of international markets, Popees is preparing to expand into several other countries within this year." Founded in 2003, Popees Baby Care has grown into a prominent name in children's products, with over 2,000 employees and a manufacturing capacity of five lakh garments per month across three production facilities. The brand offers a wide range of baby and maternity products, including diapers, soap, wet wipes, fabric wash, baby oil, cream, powder, toys, footwear, and maternity essentials.
