What parents need to know about ‘Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld' and more

Villains get the spotlight in engaging series with violence.
The first three episodes of this Star Wars animated series focus on the adventures of former Empire assassin Asajj Ventress (voiced by Nika Futterman) and her young Jedi friend Lyco (Lane Factor), while the rest follow bounty hunter Cad Bane (Corey Burton). Expect lots of sci-fi action violence, including fistfighting, laser blasts, explosions and, of course, lightsaber battles. The featured villains have an uneven history, but they're often swayed by the power of good. The show preaches that communication and empathy can help solve problems — and avoid larger ones.
