'We put a lot of pride and care into this airport,' said Airport Manager Lucas Dahl in a news release. 'With over 51,000 total aircraft operations in 2024, we're a busy regional airport and we strive to provide a safe, first-class airport for the flying community.'
The award criteria is based on state and FAA standards for maintenance and daily operations, including conditions of lights; runway, taxiway and ramp pavement and surface conditions; mowing conditions; and the airport's ability to remain open and operational for during inclement weather.
