Woman attacked in Birmingham robbery as men who came to victim's aid urged to come forward
An elderly woman suffered injuries to her eye and arm after she was attacked outside a Post Office in Birmingham.
The victim, aged in her 70s, was hurt and had her bag stolen on Larkspur Croft, in Hodge Hill, last month.
West Midlands Police said an extensive investigation resulted in a man being arrested and charged with the incident.

The force said that two men kindly came to the woman's aid, but left the scene before they had passed their details to the police.
The pair and any other witnesses are being urged to come forward and contact police.
Police inquiries are ongoing.
In a statement, police said today, Tuesday, May 27: "Can you help as we investigate after a woman in her 70s was left injured after being robbed outside a post office in Hodge Hill, Birmingham?

"It happened in Larkspur Croft at around midday on Saturday, 5 April, and the woman suffered an injury to her arm and eye as her bag was stolen.
"Investigators have been carrying out extensive enquiries, and a man has been charged with robbery.
"Two other men kindly came to the woman's aid but left before they'd passed on their details to us.
