Lincoln County man charged with child exploitation, TBI says

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. (WHNT) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a Lincoln County man has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child and a list of other charges. The TBI said agents with its Internet Crimes Against Children Squad obtained several indictments against Larry Cunningham, 64, of Ardmore, in an ongoing child exploitation case. TBI said that Cunningham was later identified as a suspect. According to the TBI, on March 18, a Lincoln County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Cunningham with a list of charges. Those charges include: one count of sexual exploitation of a minor for over 100 images, two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation for over 25 images, 32 counts of especially aggravated production, 32 counts of aggravated unlawful photography, 12 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, and one count of aggravated child abuse Cunningham was booked into the Lincoln County jail on a $1,000,000 bond but has since bonded out, according to authorities. (WKRN) — An Ardmore man has been indicted for a number of charges in connection with an ongoing child exploitation case by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Internet Crimes Against Children Squad. In 2023, the TBI said it received a tip about someone using the online messaging platform Kik to talk about sexually abusing children and share images depicting it. Agents later identified Larry Cunningham as the person responsible for the crimes.
