Latinas & Power Symposium in Hartford features influential leaders
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — More than 700 Latina students, business representatives, community leaders and influencers gathered at the Connecticut Convention Center for the 22nd annual Latinas and Power Symposium.
The event was complete with inspiring talks from successful Latina business leaders, breakout sessions focused on financial literacy, and tables featuring business partners to help attendees of all ages take the next step in their professional journey.
Founder and CEO of Latinas & Power Corp, Marilyn Alverio, danced her way in to kick off an exciting day.
Attendees also got to hear from Carolyn Aronson, who started as an entrepreneur and created the successful 'It's A 10 Haircare.'
