Take a look inside ‘Prive': A new event space on top of The Metropolitan in Rochester
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — In Rochester, a new swanky private event space is now open for reservation: Prive. It's on the top floor of The Metropolitan at 1 S. Clinton Avenue.
The space is complete with an attached catering kitchen (alongside a kitchen in the main space) for large parties, three en-suite bedrooms, and multiple bathrooms, along with a master bath.
The Metropolitan is a Gallina Development Corporation project. After the group bought the tower, it became home to retail on the first floor, 16 floors of commercial office space, and 110 market-rate units.
There are a number of other top-floor suites, but marketing director Lauren Gallina Payne says that Prive, the last of this top-floor spaces, is the final piece in their 10-year plan for the tower.
'We really wanted to hold the unit back to use as the showcase for the project, and showcase the city views, and how the project has come to fruition,' she said.
