There was a mixed reaction with a number of Fontaines D.C. fans delighted to hear the song sung by the American singer while others begged her to stick in her lane.
One wrote: 'Leave this for Fontaines pls…'
Another said: 'Don't. She needs to stick to her music and let fontaines stick to theirs she ruins the song 'cause I don't think her voice suits it no hate to her though cause even though not my stile and taste of music at all she has a good voice for her songs.'
A third responded: 'She was just doing it for appreciation for the band and the fact she's playing in Ireland and their Irish.'
Another concert-goer said it was 'the best surprise song she could've sung.'
