Irish Olivia Rodrigo fans were delighted on Tuesday night when the American singer-songwriter performed a rendition of a song from a beloved Irish band. The 22-year-old good 4 u singer performed her biggest Irish show to date at Marlay Park on Tuesday before she heads to Hyde Park in London for her next gig. The singer donned a pair of black hot pants which she paired with a chunky black and silver belt along with her signature black laced top. Influencer Lauren Whelan was amongst the 40,000 concert-goers and took to TikTok sharing a clip of Olivia performing I Love You from the five-piece punk band. One wrote: 'Leave this for Fontaines pls…' Another said: 'Don't. She needs to stick to her music and let fontaines stick to theirs she ruins the song 'cause I don't think her voice suits it no hate to her though cause even though not my stile and taste of music at all she has a good voice for her songs.' A third responded: 'She was just doing it for appreciation for the band and the fact she's playing in Ireland and their Irish.' Another concert-goer said it was 'the best surprise song she could've sung.'
