Following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government recently suspended the Instagram accounts of several Pakistani celebrities in India, including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Mawra Hocane, and Hania Aamir. Days later, Hania Aamir created a new Instagram account and was accused of doing so specifically for her Indian fans. As the criticism intensified, her team issued a statement clarifying the situation. After Hania deleted the account, her team released a statement saying that the rumours were not true.

Some people think she's trying to reach out to India for work or securing fans there, but that's not true. Her old private account with us was deleted by Instagram, and she just made a new one with the same name. Unfortunately, it wasn't set to private yet, which led to the confusion. Let's clarify that Hania's actions have nothing to do with seeking work opportunities or following in India. We know her heart!'

Hania Aamir's reaction to Pahalgam terror attack
Reacting to the tragic incident, Hania had written, 'Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope-we are one."
Hania Aamir expressed that when innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone it belongs to everyone. She emphasized that regardless of where people come from, grief speaks the same language, and urged that humanity should always be the priority.
Additionally, Hania had clarified days ago that a statement allegedly circulating in her name was not written by her. According to the fake statement, the actor was said to have intended to ask Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lift the ban on Pakistani celebrities' internet activity.

Hania Aamir began her career with Janaan in 2016 and later appeared in Parwaaz Hai Junoon (2018).
