Bay County Leadership Class of 2025 learns from state lawmakers
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Members of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce's 'Leadership Bay County Class of 2025' had the chance to speak with lawmakers today when they visited the state capitol.
Participants in the annual program learned about the lawmaking process and what officials are doing to bring money to Bay County. This opportunity provides valuable knowledge to those looking to hold future leadership roles within the community.
Members of the class say trips like these are a big help.
'Oh, it's very valuable. It's going to tell us who to call when we need something. It's going to give us the insight to the process of how things get done here in Tallahassee, which is going to help in many ways,' Leadership Bay member Matt Hutt said.
