Chamber of Commerce celebrates Wilson County Restaurant Week
Every year, the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce holds a week-long event to recognize and celebrate Wilson County's locally owned restaurants. It's called Wilson County Restaurant Week, and this past week, from Monday to Friday, 25 restaurants offered special promotions to encourage local business engagement. Registration was free and the Chamber of Commerce set up a page on its website promoting every restaurant. Not only sit-down establishments, but also food trucks were encouraged to participate. "Wilson County Restaurant Week is a celebration of community and culinary creativity, where every dish tells a story and every meal shared brings us closer together. It's a chance to savor not just flavors, but the connections that enrich our lives," Nicole Jones, Special Events Division Vice-Chair for the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, said. The restaurants that participated in Restaurant Week include Sammy B's, Roasted Coconut Cafe, Cedar City Brewing, Kat's Bar and Grille, Chicken-W-Bones #102, Sammy's at the Club, Town Square Social, Coach's Eastgate Grille, Hurt's Hot Chicken, Off the Squares BRUNCH BOX, Durci Chocolate, Billy Goat Coffee Cafe, Island Breeze Bistro, Just Fish, CP Between the Lakes, Demos' Restaurants, Dak Der Asian Food, Lebanon Coffee House, East Nashville Beer Works Wilson County, Lebanon Food Court, Just Love Coffee Cafe, Texas BBQ House Mobile, New Moon Barbecue, The Black Sheep Cafe & General Store and M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers. The Chamber of Commerce encouraged participating restaurants to record a one-minute video promotion to be posted on the Chamber's Facebook page,

County Mayor Hutto to deliver annual State of the County address
Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto will deliver his annual State of the County address on Wednesday, March 26. The Mayor's Office says planned topics will include economic growth, achievements for the previous year and goals for the next decade. Topics that Wilson County residents feel are the most impactful will also be discussed, including housing and cost of living. The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the address and luncheon at the Wilson Bank & Trust Operations center, located at 105 N. Castle Heights Ave. in Lebanon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Chamber is selling tickets for residents wishing to attend in person for $20, which will cover the cost of the luncheon. Catering will be done by Wildberry Catering. The address will be recorded and broadcast for residents unable to attend. Viewers can watch on Wilson County Television, which can be seen on TDS Telecom Channels 7 and 1007, DTC Channels 198 and 498, Charter/Spectrum Channel 198 and AT&T/U-verse Channel 99. Wilson County's YouTube page will also have a recording of Mayor Hutto's address. 'It is an honor to deliver the State of the County Address. We have so many great things to brag about in Wilson County that we have to present the Address two times each year! We rank as one of the top counties in the state, and we believe that is because of the amazing people who live and work here,' Mayor Hutto said. 'We hope to get these great facts out to as many citizens as possible on March 26th.
