Danielle Mason has confirmed she has split from her garden landscaper fiancé Lee Dopson as she revealed she is 'entering a new chapter in life'. The reality star, 42, who is the sister to EastEnders star Jessie Wallace, revealed the news in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday. Danielle and Lee became engaged in May 2024 and only recently celebrated the milestone with a lavish party surrounded by her A-lister pals. But the star is taking another direction as she penned in her post: 'I'm entering a new chapter and no longer in a relationship with Lee. 'Grateful for the past, focused on the future. Appreciate your understanding and kindness.' The split comes just months after they marked their engagement as they held the lavish bash at the Doubletree By Hilton St Annes in Wokingham in November. Back in May, Danielle announced on Instagram that she was engaged after accepting her Lee's proposal during a romantic boat ride off of the Greek island of Lefkada. The actress shared selfies of herself, her fiancé, and her gorgeous ring, to announce the news. Danielle captioned the exciting post: 'I said yes. Thank you @pipisboats and @crystalwaterslefkada now let's celebrate and get wedding planning!' Lee and Danielle have been dating since 2023, after meeting in Co-Op on the school run. The couple both have children from previous relationships, with Danielle sharing Rudy, 12, and Delilah, 10, with her ex-husband Tony Giles. The former Page 3 model is the younger sister of EastEnders legend Jessie Wallace (Kat Slater). Danielle and Jessie have famously feuded on-and-off for the best part of two decades and were last seen together in 2017. In March, Danielle revealed her son Mason, who has autism, hasn't been to school for over a year due to a lack of funding for his special educational needs. Danielle, who lives in Bracknell, says Rudy should be in Year 8 but has been declined a place at numerous schools in Berkshire after he was excluded 21 times from his last school, The Brakenhale School. Speaking to MailOnline, the mother-of-two claimed that the schools 'cannot cope' with her son's EHCP [Education, Health and Care Plan] due to a 'lack of government funding' - and that he's received homework for the first time in a year this week. She says her daughter Delilah, who also has an EHCP due to mental health problems, is currently in Year 6 at primary school, and has also failed to get a place at several senior schools.

She revealed the pair met by chance in their local Co-op, where he helped her pick up some dropped change. They soon struck up a romance that culminated in a Greek holiday proposal. Danielle said at the time: 'I feel as though I've met my soulmate. 'He proposed a week ago while we were on holiday in Greece and I can't wait to marry him. In last year's interview, she reflected on her past with humour and honesty: 'I was cra**ing myself with the thought of getting my tits out, but the money was really good.'
