Local comics store offers free comic books on May 3
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Comic book lovers of all ages are in for a treat. Neighborhood Comics in Savannah is giving away free comic books on May 3.
Neighborhood Comics owner Lee Heidel says, 'Free Comic Book Day is our biggest event of theyear. It's truly a privilege to share these wonderful, free stories with our community. It's theperfect opportunity to find a new favorite comic book.'
There will be more than 50 different free comic book titles available. This year's selection ofcomics includes beloved franchises and characters such as Spider-Man, Archie, X-Men, GI Joe,Godzilla and Minecraft.
Each attendee can get up to 5 free comic books. However, if you bring an item of new or gentlyused men's clothing, the store will donate that item to Emmaus House and raise the free comicbook limit to 10 free books.
