Calls for new global health model
LONDON - Professor Helen Rees, founder of Wits RHI, has been honoured with the World Health Organization's prestigious Dr Lee Jong-wook Memorial Prize for her outstanding contributions to global health.
But, rather than resting on her laurels, she's calling for urgent change.
Her message is clear: we don't need faster horses - we need a new model of global health.
