'This arrest demonstrates our steadfast effort to bringing those who commit crimes against children to justice, no matter where they try to hide,' said Drummond. 'I commend the diligent work of our investigators and our law enforcement partners who collaborated across state lines to ensure this individual will face the charges against him.'
Investigators determined Roman had moved to Michigan. They learned that he obtained a Michigan driver's license in October 2024 and might have been working at a construction company in Northport, a town near the shores of Lake Michigan.
The A.G.'s Office worked with the Leelanau County Sheriff's Office in Michigan, which led to the arrest of Roman. He was wanted on a 2022 warrant out of Oklahoma County.
