Digital Eclipse is partnering with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to develop and publish the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, coming this year for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. As of now, all of the major, early, mainline classic entries have been announced with even more still to come.

That's pretty exhaustive already, so I'm curious to see what else they've got in store. It's smart to get all of the biggest ones people would want to see out of the way in the initial reveal. Including titles from the arcade, SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, and more all together finally at last is pretty incredible.

If you're a longtime fan of the series like me, then this is the type of collection you've been waiting literally decades to see. I'm beyond excited at the idea of having all of these games in their various versions easily available across so many platforms, complete with modern features as well.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection doesn't have a release date yet, but it's reportedly planned for this year.
