Traffic diversions announced for Bakrid at Mir Alam tank Idgah

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have annnounced traffic regulations ahead of Id-ul-Azha (Bakrid) prayers at Mir Alam Tank Idgah on Saturday, June 7. Vehicular movement will be regulated in the surrounding areas from 7 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., with several diversions and designated parking zones announced to manage the crowd efficiently. As per the advisory, traffic from Puranapul, Kamatipura, and Kishanbagh heading towards the Eidgah will be permitted via Bahadurpura crossroads. Commuters have been advised to park in the open space near the Zoo Park. During this window, general traffic will not be allowed towards Tadban and will instead be diverted via Dr. Manmohan Singh Expressway flyover, from Zoo Park towards Aramgarh. Vehicles approaching from Shivarampally and Danamma Huts will be allowed through Danamma Huts crossroads and can park at designated zones, including at the Modern Petrol Pump near the Eidgah main road, inside and outside the Mir Alam filter bed, single-line parking stretches in the area, and from Yadav Parking to Legacy Palace. Traffic not bound for prayers will be diverted at Danamma Huts crossroads towards Shastripuram and NS Kunta. Meanwhile, the traffic bound for Kalapather will be permitted through Kalapather police station route, with parking near the Mass Material shop and the Indian Oil petrol bunk. All other traffic will be diverted through Mochi Colony, Bahadurpura, Shamsheergunj, and Nawab Saheb Kunta. Restrictions and diversions will be in effect for heavy vehicles during the same hours. Traffic from Puranapul towards Bahadurpura may be diverted towards Jiyaguda and City College. Vehicles from Shamshabad, Rajendra Nagar, and Milardevpally will be allowed through Dr. Manmohan Flyover in both directions, depending on crowd movement and the completion of Bakrid prayers. The Traffic Department has urged commuters to avoid affected areas, follow official social media updates, and contact the helpline (9010203626) for assistance during emergencies.
