Free legal clinic at A-B Tech will offer assistance to Tropical Storm Helene survivors
ASHEVILLE — Nonprofits Pisgah Legal Services and Legal Aid of North Carolina are partnering to offer an 'Ask a Lawyer for Free' event in Asheville on Monday, March 17.
This clinic will provide free legal assistance, advice and disaster resources, and will be held from noon-6 p.m. March 17 at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College's Ferguson Auditorium, 19 Tech Drive. This is a walk-in clinic, no appointment needed. Clients will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Staff and volunteers from local agencies can assist with FEMA applications and appeals, insurance disputes, housing issues for tenants and homeowners, bills and debt, and avoiding fraud and scams.
