Montreal weather: We are shocked
We here at the Gazette weather desk spent the better part of a month being dreary and complaining about how cold and damp May was.
It turns out we need to check ourselves after Leora Schertzer uncovered the truth: It wasn't as gloomy as it seemed, according to Environment Canada, and: 'As far as Quebec goes, it was actually a pretty typical month.'
The disconnect happened because it mostly rained on weekends. But that counts, doesn't it? Doesn't that make it gloomy? Or are we all Eeyores over here?
If it's a matter of perspective rather than science, here's our perspective for Tuesday: Aaaaahh, that's more like it.
Expect a mainly sunny high of 27 C with a humidex of 28 C and a UV index 8, or very high. At night, at low of 16 C.
