PSG consider move for Lazio's Mario Gila
Paris Saint-Germain are in the market for a right-sided centre-back this summer. As per Le Parisien, Lazio's Mario Gila (24) is a player being considered. PSG's longest-serving player, Marquinhos, has just lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy. Last season, he was the subject of interest from Saudi Arabia, however, Les Parisiens weren't selling. Their interest remains, and there was a sense that, with the outpouring of emotion in Munich, Marquinhos may have played his last game. Advertisement Regardless, L'Équipe understands that, if he is to stay at the Parc des Princes beyond the summer, his role will be slightly reduced. Recruiting a centre-back is, therefore, a priority for Luís Campos. Gila looks to be a prominent target, with Campos having already observed him on numerous occasions, according to Le Parisien. However, the publication adds that it is currently too early to tell whether he is the priority target for Les Parisiens. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

Presnel Kimpembe likely to miss the remainder of the season for PSG
Presnel Kimpembe likely to miss the remainder of the season for PSG After nearly two years away from the pitch, Presnel Kimpembe (29) will spend some more time on the sidelines once again. The Paris Saint-Germain defender is dealing with a right foot injury that will likely require him to miss several weeks, the club announced on Friday. Advertisement The 2018 World Cup winner with Les Bleus was unavailable for nearly two years after rupturing his Achilles tendon in late February 2023 during his side's 3-0 victory over arch-rivals Olympique de Marseille. In January of last year, he underwent surgery to repair that tendon and had only returned to the PSG lineup in February 2025, featuring in their 2-0 Coupe de France victory over Le Mans. The PSG vice-captain was on the substitutes' bench on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium when his team defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the opening leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie. Kimpembe's earliest projected return is in mid-June when Les Parisiens travel to Miami for the Club World Cup. He has only featured in two Ligue 1 fixtures this season and has not played for France since 2022. Advertisement Kimpembe has won eight Ligue 1 titles for the club and was selected to the Ligue 1 Team of the Year for the 2020-21 campaign, when they finished second. In December 2023, while still recovering from his Achilles injury, he signed a contract extension to remain in Paris until 2026. He last played for Les Parisiens was on April 19, when he came on for Desiré Doué (19) for the final nine minutes of their 2-1 triumph over Le Havre AC. GFFN | Joel Lefevre

‘Arsenal need to feel that we're at the Parc des Princes' – Achraf Hakimi's war cry ahead of Arsenal second leg
Speaking to the press ahead of Paris Saint-Germain's UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg against Arsenal, defender Achraf Hakimi has emphasised the importance of playing at the Parc des Princes in front of a home crowd, and has called on supporters to make as much of a hostile atmosphere as possible to welcome the North London side. 'I think the key will be to do what we've been doing since the start of the season, to show personality when we don't have the ball and not give our opponents any gifts,' said Hakimi in a press conference transcribed by RMC Sport. 'Since I've been in Paris, I've felt the support of the fans. Tomorrow, we'll need it more than ever. Arsenal need to feel that we're at the Parc des Princes.' Les Parisiens go into the clash with a slender 1-0 lead taken at the Emirates, thanks to Ousmane Dembélé's strike early on. The Frenchman is set to return to the PSG side, after he had to be taken off injured in the first-leg, and missing Les Parisiens' trip to Strasbourg last weekend. GFFN | George Boxall

'I'm not giving anything to Mikel Arteta.' – PSG head coach Luis Enrique defiant before Champions League clash against Arsenal
PSG head coach Luis Enrique remains confident in Les Parisiens before their season-defining Champions League semi-finals against Arsenal. The first leg will be played on Tuesday at London's Emirates Stadium. Unfortunately for the Ligue 1 champions, the general rehearsal has gone badly wrong. PSG hosted Nice on Friday night at Parc des Princes and they suffered their first domestic defeat of the season (1-3). A brace from Morgan Sanson and a header from Youssouf Ndayishimiye broke PSG's hopes of an unbeaten Ligue 1 campaign. Nice were also grateful they had Marcin Bulka between the sticks. The Pole has been immense, pulling off strong saves to repel PSG. 'I'm not worried at all', Luis Enrique said in his post-game presser. 'We attacked, didn't calculate, and we came up against a goalkeeper who made some incredible saves.' PSG were so dominant against Les Aiglons that the Spaniard even said he would be pleased to see his players reiterate a similar performance on Tuesday, but with a different result, obviously. 'I saw a team with 30 goal-scoring opportunities (…) We deserved to win, no doubt about it. But if the opponent is 100 % clinical and you're not as clinical as usual, things turn around. It's as simple as that.' Advertisement Luis Enrique was also quizzed on his team selection against Nice. Indeed, PSG went very strong against Franck Haise's side, with a starting XI that is not expected to change for Tuesday. 'Make of that what you will. I'm not giving anything to Mikel', Arteta's fellow countryman concluded. GFFN | Bastien Cheval
