Victim identified in Allen Park Rd. shooting in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A woman who passed away from injuries during a shooting on Allen Park Road in Springfield has been identified.

On February 27, the Springfield Police Department said officers received a report at around 3:00 a.m. regarding unknown trouble at the 100 block of Allen Park Road. When they arrived at the location and entered the home, two victims were found with gunshot wounds.
A woman died at the location of the shooting, and a man was brought to Baystate Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Hampden District Attorney's Office Communications Director Payton North said that the female victim of the shooting has been identified as 54-year-old Leslie Westbrook of Springfield.
The Springfield Police Department Homicide Unit is currently investigating the incident in conjunction with the Hampden District Attorney's Murder Unit.
