Jennifer Lopez has mastered the art of rocking deep-plunge gowns. In February, she donned a LAPOINTE deep cowl neck dress for the Pre-Grammy gala. Then, in April, she attended the New York premiere of Good Night, And Good Luck in a black V-neck gown by Saiid Kobeisy. Now, once again, the "Let's Get Loud" singer is making headlines with another showstopping ensemble. This week, Lopez attended the Ring Them Bells benefit concert in New York to celebrate composer John Kander's 98th birthday. Jennifer Lopez Wore 8 Stunning Outfits at the AMAs, But This One Stole the Show
ICYMI: Jennifer Lopez hosted the 51st annual American Music Awards (AMAs) on Monday. While there were plenty of performances and winners, it was outfit changes that caught my attention. The "Let's Get Loud" singer had eight (yes, eight) looks throughout the night, but there was one that truly stole the show. But before I get ahead of myself, let's take a trip through each look. David Becker/Stringer/Getty Images Her red carpet look was this Defaǐence gown, which draped nicely on the purple carpet. In Lopez fashion, she sported a plunging style, gold heels and a voluminous blowout. Ethan Miller/Staff/Getty Images kicked off the show in a custom catsuit from Michael Ngo that was covered in gems and black accents. She danced to a mix of the biggest hits of the year, including Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé and more. Christopher Polk/Contributor/Getty Images In an exclusive interview with InStyle, the host teased she was going to wear eight outfits. "There's a lot of different options. I will change [my mind]. I'll be like, 'No I don't like this hair. Let's just pull it back. Give me a ponytail. Where are my hoops?' Theres so many different ways to go, and I'm just going to pick whatever feels good in the moment," she shared. Christopher Polk/Contributorr/Getty Images The Hustlers star also wore this gold sequins number, which had high slits on both sides. She also opted for a sleek high ponytail to complete the look. Gilbert Flores/Contributor/Getty Images Another sequins fave is this royal blue David Koma strapless gown that had a fun boxy silhouette. She paired it with silver heels, a tennis bracelet and a choker—along with a updo and face-framing pieces. Gilbert Flores/Contributor/Getty Images Keeping up with the sequin trend, the triple-threat wore this black Monot jumpsuit with side cutouts, a diamond-shaped neckline and a deep open back. This time around, she kept her hair straight and glossy to show off her chunky highlights. Rich Polk/Contributor/Getty Images Before I show you *the* outfit, this plunging Miss Sohee halter-neck gown comes at a close second. It was embroidered in Swarovski crystals and had a high slit in the front to show off her dancing legs, as well as a gorgeous floral cape. Gilbert Flores/Contributor/Getty Images But it's this outfit that truly defined the night and stole the entire show. A Bronx and Banco original, this sparkling number had dramatic bedazzled cutouts and a sheer fringe skirt made for a professional dancer like her. The jaw-dropping look complements nicely with the big news she just gave her fans on Instagram. On Monday night, she shared that she will be having her very own Las Vegas residency starting in December. OK, can we officially crown the queen of outfit changes? Jennifer Lopez's Butt Cleavage Is Weirdly Classy
If anyone can make butt cleavage look elegant, it's Jennifer Lopez. The multi-hyphenate star hosted the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas and hit the stage in not one, not two, but eight different outfits—including a dangerously low-cut jumpsuit that somehow felt … weirdly classy? Lopez was photographed backstage in the black sequin one-piece, which looked relatively standard from the front: a triangular halter top and wide-leg pants, a silhouette that's become a signature for the 'Let's Get Loud' singer. But once she turned to the side? It was full peach emoji energy. The back plunged so low it nearly revealed her entire backside, stopping just above the curve of her cheeks. More from StyleCaster Halle Berry Was Forced to Change at Cannes Last-Minute: 'Not Going to Break the Rules' Zendaya's 2025 Met Gala Look Is a Masterclass in Minimal Drama She styled the too-hot-to-handle look with a bone-straight blowout featuring bright highlights and a crisp middle part. The rest of her glam was signature arched brows, wispy lashes, glowy highlighter, and a soft, glossy pout. Though her other outfits varied in cut and vibe, one theme ran through them all: skin. She arrived in a plunging, sand-colored Defaïence gown with toga-like draping and dramatic trains. Later, she sparkled in a crystal-covered Bronx and Banco mini featuring a T-shaped bodice and tassel hem, and she took the stage in a romantic Miss Sohee design paired with a billowing cape adorned in oversized floral appliqués. Speaking to People about her wardrobe for the night, Lopez said the looks came together at the last minute. 'We started doing our fittings just yesterday and there's so many things to choose from,' she said. For her, dressing is more about intuition than rules. 'For me, my feelings change from month to month, like, 'Who do I want to be today?' because I feel like there's so many different sides to who I am fashion-wise.' The 2025 AMAs aired Monday, May 26. Billie Eilish was the night's biggest winner, sweeping all seven of her nominations, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. I had to cancel my tour last year, and so I've been thinking of performing a lot, and I had such a great time when I was here in Vegas,' Lopez told Las Vegas Now on May 26. Lopez cancelled her summer 2024 tour, This Is Me… Live, to spend more time with family. Story continues below advertisement In a May 2024 statement on her website, OntheJLo, Lopez said she was 'devastated' by the cancellation but did not offer further explanation. 'I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary,' she wrote. 'I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. The pair officially filed for divorce last August, more than two years after their secretive Las Vegas wedding. The Get Right singer listed April 26, 2024, as the date of her separation from Affleck. The pair, nicknamed 'Bennifer' in the tabloids, married in July 2022. Lopez has been married four times. Before Affleck, she was married to Cuban actor and producer Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998. She then married dancer Cris Judd in 2001, and the couple were together for two years. In 2004, Lopez married singer Marc Anthony, with whom she shares two children. Jennifer Lopez, 55, Sparks Mixed Reactions After Bold Opening Performance at AMAs
Jennifer Lopez opened the 2025 American Music Awards in an energetic fashion, "turning it up" to the biggest hits of the year. This year's host danced "her heart out" with an opening sequence mash-up of 23 songs, but despite being completely breathless by the end of the bold 6-minute performance, not everyone loved what the 55-year-old performer was putting down. "JENNIFER LOPEZ PLEASE STOP DANCING," one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), as another figured it was JLo's Dancing With the Stars reveal, noting, "is this Jennifer Lopez hinting she's gonna be on dwts with this intro #amas." "why is jennifer lopez kissing everybody at the #AMAs" someone questioned, referring to a moment where the "Let's Get Loud" crooner locked lips with male and female dancers, which got plenty of shocked reactions on social media. Tiffany Haddish even made a comment about JLo's single status following the moment, emphasizing the singer's divorce from Ben Affleck. The responses continued, with someone writing, "I'm not hating it but Jennifer Lopez dancing to all the hits doesn't make sense to me," with a second adding, "never in my life did i think i would see jenniferlopez dance to chappell roan." The reactions were divided, as a fair share praised the effort put into the performance, stating, "You can NEVER say Jennifer Lopez isn't one of the best and hardest working performers in the biz." Another tweeted, "Yall could never make me hate Jennifer Lynn Lopez!!!!! #AMAs .:: Mama still be moving and grooving better than girls half her age." In addition to Lopez flaunting her hosting, singing and dancing chops, the 51st American Music Awards, live from Fontainebleau Las Vegas, will honor Janet Jackson, who will receive the prestigious Icon Award and deliver her first live TV performance in seven years and Rod Stewart, who will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award and perform on the AMAs stage for the first time in over two decades.
