Former Lexington Catholic star Reece Potter coming home to play at Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Reece Potter was an absolute monster at Lexington Catholic, scoring nearly 18 points per game and grabbing nearly nine rebounds per game as a 7-foot tree out there in Kentucky high school basketball games.

After spending two seasons playing at Miami (OH), Potter entered the transfer portal and has now decided to come back home, committing to play at the University of Kentucky.
Potter is listed at 7-foot-1 and averaged 6.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season. He came off the bench for the Redhawks and averaged 17 minutes per game with zero starts in 30 games.
The Lexington-native is not expected to play as much this upcoming season, with Brandon Garrison and Malachi Moreno ahead of him on the depth chart. He does add some frontcourt reserve depth and give UK another opportunity to bring a local guy home.
