CORONATION Street's Elle Mulvaney has been spotted cosying up to a mystery man - a year after splitting from her ex. The Sun exclusively revealed last May that once-smitten co-stars Elle and Liam Scholes, both 22, had gone their separate ways following a two year relationship. 4 But, according to a new report, the actress has found love once again, packing on the PDA with a hunk at Radio 1' s Big Weekend on Friday. The actress, who's played Amy Barlow on the ITV soap since childhood, was spotted getting close to a mystery man in the Liverpool festival's VIP section. An onlooker told The Mirror: 'They couldn't take their hands off each other. Elle and the guy looked very happy to be in one another's company. "They didn't shy away from everybody around them and looked very cosy together. Elle seemed relaxed as she looked close to the guy. It seems that she has moved on from Liam.' Elle's representatives have been contacted for comment. At the time of their split last year, we were told it would "take a miracle" for Elle and Liam to reunite. A source said: "Elle and Liam were loves young dream and did everything together. "Their split has really shocked their co-stars and family and no one knows exactly what happened. "It was all very sudden and they have both made it clear to pals it would take a miracle for them to get back together again." The couple got together in 2022 just months after Amy Barlow actress Elle, 21, split from ex-boyfriend Euan. I'm a goody two shoes and I never went to a club before I was 18. 'Because I was on television, I felt I couldn't do things like that without getting into trouble. The soap star, 22, split from her co-star Liam Scholes in May last year after two years together, which at the time left their Corrie family in shock by the separation. It appears Elle, who portrays Amy Barlow in the soap, has now moved on as she was reportedly seen looking 'loved-up' and smitten with the new man. According to The Mirror, the pair 'couldn't take their hands off each other' in the VIP section of the festival. A source at the festival told the publication: 'Ellie and the guy looked very happy to be in one another's company.' The couple also enjoyed Christmas Day together, as they shot each other a loving gaze while posing for a snap next to a decorated tree. In July last year, Elle and boyfriend Liam looked every inch the happy couple as they attended The Great Summer Social Launch at Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village. The couple appeared in good spirits as they enjoyed a game of mini golf at the event. In October, the couple enjoyed a date to Alton Towers Resort for the launch of Oktoberfest. The pair seemed in good spirits as they cosied up while posing for pictures at the theme park. Elle revealed at the time that the younger generation of Coronation Street have become fast friends and enjoy going out together. Speaking to The Sun, she explained: 'We did all just find that instantly we became this tight-knit group of friends. We all socialise together. We've shown newcomer James Craven (who plays Aaron Sandford) the best places to go out in Manchester. We've taken him to all the clubs!' Elle also revealed the cast have their own saying for getting drunk, calling it 'getting Barlowed' after the cobbles' famous family. 'We were all saying, it's like we're in Friends! We call it our little Friends spin-off. I think it's so cool I've been here for so long. Even when people don't watch it, if I say 'I'm Ken's grand-daughter', they always know who he is. The Barlows are Coronation Street,' she continued.
