World Press Freedom Day marked in Libya

The Libya for All Foundation for Development, Culture, and Training has organized a cultural dialogue salon entitled "Journalism and Culture... Together to Create National Awareness" on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, on the evening of Sunday, May 4, 2025. The event brought together a select group of national cultural and media figures.
Discussions focused on the complementary relationship between journalism and culture in building collective awareness.
Participants emphasized that the media not only conveys events, but also contributes to shaping public opinion and protecting national memory.
The salon also addressed the challenges facing cultural media in Libya, calling for the need to rehabilitate culture on media platforms as a fundamental component of national discourse. Variety Tagged:
